The Summer Road Trip
I work a boring job, well, it’s relatively boring. Teaching advanced mathematics is not the most exciting position in the world, but it gives me a steady income and lets me take a few months off in the summer. Every school year I look forward to the summer break, simply because I can go on yet another road trip. The summer months usher in warm weather and I take advantage by getting in my car and driving cross country or venturing to some high level destination somewhere.
Last year I managed to end up in Orlando, and while sleeping in my car, I spent many days at Disney world, riding all the rides and enjoying direct tv programming Florida. I definitely had a blast, and the weather permitted me to venture forward into a lot of cool spots at the magic kingdom, including many different water parks in the area.
When I’m not on a road trip, and am back home safely, I watch travel programming on my satellite tv. I make sure that I see all the major summer destinations, including major water parks, so that I can take an adventure into the known and the unknown roads of America. I’m completely fascinated with the concept of road trips, and ever since I saw the movie ‘Vacation’, I’ve been enjoying the summer and the opportunity to leave the comfort of my home and see the national treasures and tourist attractions.
